Happy Holidays!!

It has been awhile since I last posted something on here. I am going to try harder next year to keep this updated with pictures of our growing little girl! A lot has happened for us over the past few months, Blayne graduated from the University of Indianapolis and is currently working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Greencastle.

Kinsley started at her new Day Care in August! She absolutely loves it and we love it too! There is something to be said when your 10 month old runs and plays on the first day instead of holds on to you and cries. She made new friends the first day and hasn't turned back yet.

Kinsley celebrated her first birthday on October 1! I can't believe that she is already 1. We had a great time and she loved her cake. It was certainly a fun day for all of us.

Christmas was GREAT! We were able to enjoy our holidays this year and Kinsley. She loved the unwrapping gifts and seeing what everyone got. I have enjoyed being off with her and getting to spend some quality time playing with her. Kinsley also go to experience her first snow. We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and wish you all a Happy New Year.
We are certainly looking forward to 2010 and all of the excitement that it has to offer us.

walking, talking, and having fun!

Kinsley is about to turn 10 months in a little over a week and she's getting so big! She took her first step in June and hasn't stopped since. She is walking all over and getting into everything. It will only be a matter of time until she is a BIG Girl! I have really enjoyed being home with her this summer and will miss her when I start back to school in just a few short weeks. Time sure does fly when you're having fun! We are looking forward to more fun times ahead!!

Gone Swimmin'

We have been spending some time at the pool lately and I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of Kinsley in her float. She seems to really enjoy floating around and playing in the water (as long as it is warm). I just hope someday we'll be able to talk her dad into getting us a pool! For now, we'll just go where we can!:) Enjoy!!

8 months and more firsts

Kinsley turns 8 months old on Monday and she's growing so much! Since we last posted, she's started some new unique "firsts." She has learned how to bark from listening to Wrigley and other friends' dogs, sometimes she growls too. Her latest first is standing up. She is still very wobbly, but can stand on her own and will cruise around things if she's standing near them such as the couch, cabinets, or the deck.

I am looking forward to spending the summer with her and teaching her to swim. We plan to spend a lot of time in water this summer and outside playing. Please check back frequently this summer to see pictures of Kinsley outside playing. We hope all of you are able to enjoy the summer weather.

6 months old

Kinsley turned 6 months old on April 1. She has grown up so much it's hard to believe. She's been scooting all over the place and has started to crawl (but not very well). She tries to pull herself up and sits up on her own. It's incredible how fast things have happened. We went to the doctor today and she is 16lbs. 10oz and 27 1/4 inches long.

Kinsley has also been practicing her basketball. She plays every night. We're hoping her height will keep up and she can play when she gets big!:) Keep checking back for pictures and videos as Kinsley gets close to her first steps!

St. Patty's Day!!

Kinsley had a great 1st St. Patrick's Day! It was very warm outside so we spent the afternoon outside in the yard. She played quite awhile outside scooting around on the grass and her blanket. Before too much longer she'll be crawling all over.

Baptism and meeting the uncles

Last Sunday was Kinsley's baptism. Several of the family came and shared in her big day. Her uncles came in for the weekend so she finally got to meet them. She seemed to enjoy their company and I'm sure they enjoyed her too. She spent the week with Grandma Arthur and had lots of fun. She's been eating her vegetables (green beans, peas) and seems to like those. Still spitting up quite a bit, but growing like a weed!! Kinsley is rolling all over the place, and starting to scoot backwards, and sits pretty well by herself. Keep checking back for more pictures and the latest on her "firsts!"

Another first

Kinsley is 5 months old today! She's getting so big and changing so much. She had her first vegetable today, green beans. At first, she liked them but as we continued to feed them to her the faces she made were hysterical. She continues to laugh and talk to us, but seems to be shy when she's not at home. Before too much longer she'll be able to sit on her own, as she works really hard to pull herself up when she's laying down and will sit for a few seconds if we sit her up. I will post some more video and pictures this week. This weekend is an exciting time for her. She finally gets to meet her uncles and aunt. It's going to be a nice visit to meet more family.

Rolling Over, babbling, and cereal

Kinsley has begun to roll over and babble frequently. I finally got to see her roll over today after missing the first two. She's growing more and more and changing every day. She celebrated her first Valentine's Day on Saturday. We didn't do anything special, since she can't do a whole lot, but we enjoyed the day together. Kinsley has started cereal everyday and loves it! She tries to eat the whole spoon when you feed her. In a couple of weeks, we'll be trying some new foods.

4 months old

I decided we should start a blog so that you can watch Kinsley grow and find out what's going on with us. Kinsley just turned 4 months old last week and had her 4month check up. She weighed 14lbs. 8oz. and was 25 3/4 in. She's getting so big! She's starting to talk a lot and laugh. Stay tuned for more updates on her.
