Happy Easter!!!

Easter weekend was a busy one for our family. Kinsley stayed with Grandma & Grandpa Smith on Friday night. On Saturday, she went with them to Logansport to visit family while Mommy was at a track meet. Mommy & Daddy met up with her later for the Easter Egg hunt and some family time. On Sunday, the Easter Bunny visited our house so Kinsley spent the morning looking for egg hunters. After church, we headed to Grandma Arthur's house for Easter lunch and another egg hunt. We had a great weekend and were glad to have spent it with our families!

Digging for...WORMS!

Spring is officially here which means we get to spend lots of time outside. Kinsley is loving the warm weather and the opportunity to play outside, ride her bike, and she's found a new hobby. While playing at daycare, they discovered worms. Since then, she has asked Blayne to dig for worms with her. Here are a few pictures of her worm adventures.

And then there were 4...

It's been a long while since I last posted anything but I am going to try to post weekly for those of you out of town to keep you updated on the latest. We got the exciting news on the day before Thanksgiving that we would be welcoming a new little one into our family in August. After a long month in November, that was great news to hear. We immediately began to start planning since we will have to get the spare room turned into the nursery.

Thanksgiving and Christmas were wonderful! We spent a lot of time together as a family and with our extended families. It is always nice to have family close by. I love watching Kinsley with all of her grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She absolutely loves being with all of them.

The New Year has brought a lot of change for us. I changed jobs at semester and now teach 6th grade at Newby Memorial Elementary in Mooresville. It is with the same district, just a different grade, school. It is going to be wonderful working there, but I am not sure how much I will like it come spring time when I am getting bigger and I have to walk up and down three flights of stairs to get to and from my room. Blayne just recently took on the job of Lead Therapist at Millers so that means more hours and stress for him, but hopefully a good experience.

Things have been rough going with the new baby. I am currently 14 weeks and have been miserably sick through most of the pregnancy. I just keep reminding myself about the end result and it gets better! We've had several ultrasounds and all look great. They all confirm there is only one baby so now we just have to wait to see what we're having. Our next ultrasound will be February 28, so we'll be making the big announcement soon. I will try to post pictures of the new baby this weekend.

Right now as I type this, Kinsley and I have been iced in our home for two days and will be here again tomorrow. School has been canceled due to extreme ice, snow and cold weather. I am getting stir crazy and a little jealous that Blayne gets to leave each day. I am looking forward to Friday when I hope we get to return to work. For now, we'll just stay inside and keep warm.

We hope that 2011 is bringing you a lot to smile about so far! We'll continue to keep you updated on baby Bechtold's progress and big sister Kinsley's latest adventures.
